David started swimming competitively late last fall and has now competed in two swim meets. It is an interesting juggling act to keep him at all of his activities, but swimming has quickly become one of his favorites, so we try to keep him in the pool as much as possible. Baseball season may mean a few weeks without much pool time, but he's got a few away meets planned for the summer that he has set his sights on, so I'm sure he'll be swimming as much as possible.
He is not much of a speed demon with his breast stroke, but he burns up the pool with his free. It's been really fun to see him improve with each and every practice. He likes to joke that he has chlorine coursing through his veins- sometimes I think he really does!
