Kathryn loves her chicken. Yep, that's it, she loves that danged chicken. And the divine Miss Speckles, the wee pullet in question, loves her Kathryn. The two of them spend quite a good bit of time together, usually with Kathryn packing her around and Speckles "talking" the entire time. It is rather amusing. I was always firmly in the "chicken are not pets" camp...however, these two have proven me wrong.
