Finally! A Post About David!

Hey Batter, batter! Swing!

It's that time of year...baseball season. When mom's struggle to organize dinner, homework and bedtimes around practices and games. And don't forget about the horror of failing to wash the correct baseball pants between games! A time when Dad's valiantly bite their tongues while their little superstars diligently dig holes in center field during long innings and are forced to have strange conversations about how a cup is really supposed to be worn.

Ah, baseball season. David's been in practices for about a month now and finally the games are upon us. His first game was last night and other then it being COLD, it was a great little game. His team won 7-9, which is always a good thing. They struggle with the pitching and their attention span gets a bit tested, but all in all his team is doing a really great job.

David had a fantastic double and drove in two runs, then he had some really awesome plays at first. He is a really good first basemen, if I do say so myself.

So...way to go David and team JML! I'll keep a little scoreboard on the side of the blog so you guys can follow their successes throughout the season.
